Got a question? We’re here to help.
Children’s museums are institutions committed to serving the needs and interests of children by providing exhibits and programs that stimulate curiosity and motivate learning. Children’s museums bring children and families together in a new kind of Town Square, where play inspires lifelong learning. Outreach programs for at-risk and under-served youth, school partnerships, and parent resource programs in early childhood are just some of the ways that children’s museums serve families in their communities.
The Children’s Museum of Green Bay is a 501(c)3 community funded, visitor-supported organization. We rely on admission and membership pricing to support our annual operating costs. Please allow us to continue making a difference in the lives of young children each year with a gift to the museum.
We are an organization where “children play to learn and adults learn to play.” We encourage families to interact together in our space and share their experience. As a community funded, visitor-supported organization, we depend on our admission pricing to allow us to continue to offer top-notch educational exhibit galleries.
The Children’s Museum of Green Bay does not accept ACM Memberships. However, if you have a membership to another Wisconsin Children’s Museum, please show us your valid membership pass to receive $3 off daily admission.
The Children’s Museum of Green Bay now its own parking lot! There are 50+ spots available to museum guests in the lot adjacent to our building at 1230 Bay Beach Road.
We have a no food or drink policy in the museum exhibit galleries, but do open our Celebration Room (pending availability) if you would like to bring a packed lunch or snack. Please remember that we are a peanut free facility.
Yes! Groups with 10 or more children are offered a reduced admission rate, but the reservation must be scheduled in advance. Please see our Schools/Groups section for more information on group visits.
If the Green Bay Area Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather conditions, the museum will also be closed. During scheduled school breaks (such as winter and spring break), the museum will be open our standard hours. The museum will not be open on Labor Day, Memorial Day, or Martin Luther King Jr Day. For up-to-date closing information, please follow us on Facebook.
Memberships allow unlimited admission to the people that are named on the membership at the time of purchase. Other guests who may visit the museum with you will be required to pay general admission. Please see our Memberships section for more information on our membership levels and benefits.
Many programs are drop-in classes, but some do require pre-registration. If pre-registration is needed, you may sign up by following the registration link or contacting the front desk.
Most programs are FREE with paid admission or membership. If a program has an additional cost, this will be noted in its description. Program fees must be paid in full when signing up.
In the event of inclement weather, The Children's Museum follows The Green Bay School District's school closure schedule.
