Who we are

Children learn through play, they explore, create, conquer fears, develop confidence and master the world around them. While functioning as a town square and building social capital for children and families, The Children’s Museum of Green Bay has emerged as the community institution that provides a unique, interactive environment where children and adults can connect and where play inspires a passion for lifelong learning.
Our Mission
To serve the needs and interests of children by providing exhibits and programs that stimulate curiosity and captivates learning through exploration and hands on play. To bring children and families together in a new kind of Town Square, where play inspires a passion for lifelong learning.
Our Vision
To be recognized as a leader in the Midwest among museums who serve children and families. To accomplish this we will need to consistently create and develop innovative exhibits and programming that both challenges and inspire: children and families, in turn transforming their lives.
We help develop foundational skills. Children’s museums are leading a movement that combines learning objective with play in informal learning environments that are developmentally appropriate.
We respect childhood. The Children’s Museum produce programs and exhibits that transcend age, IQ and experience, and empower children to set their own pace. No child to set their own pace. We light a creative spark for lifelong learning. At the Children’s Museum of Green Bay, kids become excited about what they are learning while they are playing. As multidisciplinary institutions, children’s museums are defining how to teach the arts, humanities, sciences, mathematics and human relations across generations.
