My WordPress Blog
It’s hard to believe it’s been over a year since we had to close our doors due to Covid-19! Although we have kept ourselves busy with all of our virtual programming and take-home kits, we are excited to be able to open our doors again to the public. We just can’t imagine not being a part of this community and serving families!
Since our opening in 2012, The Children’s Museum of Green Bay has provided over 23,000 hours of opportunity where our children can play to learn and our adults can learn to play again! That’s over 23,000 hours of education, fun, and precious family time. What a gift in these hectic, over-scheduled days!
For children all it takes is one second, one moment where imagination is encouraged, when curiosity leads straight into creativity. One moment for our children to develop a passion for life-long learning.
You can help make those moments happen. With your donations, we will continue to add programs like Wiggle, Move & Giggle, Sensory Night, Science Saturday, E.A.T., and more. New exhibits include Whoosh, It’s all about Air and Movement, Manufacturing in Northeast Wisconsin, and Tinker Space. Each day, laughter and learning will continue to fill the air in the museum. But the museum is more than just four walls. We are delivering educational programming within our local schools and libraries too. Families in need, boys and girls, who could not otherwise visit our museum, now have the chance to enjoy our interactive experiences.
That is why I am asking you for your financial support. Help us create the moments that will change the lives of our children and the future of our community. Please send us your generous gift today. How many more moments will you help to create?
Sincerely,
Toni Burnett
Executive Director
